There’s a ton of great reading to tell you about today! Here is what our friends posted recently:
*Store Brands vs. Name Brands. This is a great article discussing store brand price and quality from Dawn at Frugal for Life. She includes nice tips about finding out which company manufactures store brands, and a list of top-rated store brands by Consumer Reports as well.
* Top 15 Kitchen Safety Tips. Useful info from Linda Larsen at About.com Busy Cooks.
*Turning Junk Mail into Mulch. Interesting read from icup, posted on Get Rich Slowly. What a great way to reuse shredded paper!
*How I Save Money (aka Why I Have Seven Savings Accounts) from Shana at Smart Easy Money. We also have several different savings accounts, all nicknamed for what they are (emergency fund, taxes, etc.). I couldn’t imagine trying to keep money for different things in the same account ever again!
*Taking Care of Ourselves at Elizabeth’s Simple Journey. We all need a little reminding every once in a while that we can’t take care of others unless we take care of ourselves first!
*We are Not Our Children’s Slaves from OrgJunkie. Wonderful article! Everyone knows that Homemaker Barbi is all about fostering capability in our children!
